Roger Curtis

Partner, Property


Roger is a Partner in the property group, having qualified as a solicitor in 1988.

Rogers main practice area is Town and Country Planning and is a member of the Law Society Planning Law Accreditation Scheme.  He also has expertise in matters relating to Compulsory Purchase Orders having dealt with a number of matters on the subject in the Lands Tribunal including in recent times matters relating to the Channel Tunnel, the Croydon Tramlink and the new Arsenal Football Stadium.

Roger having spent a number of years in local Government, also advises on matters relating to local Government law, as well as environmental issues and construction disputes, he is also a member of the Environmental Law Foundation.  Roger has been a Mediator since 1996 having trained with the ADR Group and has sat as a mediator in many commercial disputes.  Roger has very recently joined Cumberland Ellis from a South East Regional Practice.

Roger lives in Staplehurst, Kent with his wife and enjoys messing around with his 30 plus years MG motorcar and country walking normally involving his dogs.  Roger has also been a supporter of Arsenal for many years
