Property lawyer Colin Stone was admitted as a solicitor in 1968 after completing articles with a south Wales practice.

After a short spell in industry, Colin chose to specialise in commercial property, but has also gained extensive experience of general corporate and commercial non-contentious matters, including mergers and acquisitions, and advising registered social landlords and regeneration organisations.

Colin has experience of acting for overseas companies and non-resident individuals in acquiring and managing property investment and trust portfolios in the UK. He was formerly Senior Partner of Taylor Willcocks, a corporate and commercial practice in Clerkenwell, EC1, before merging his commercial team with Cumberland Ellis in November 2006.

Colin lives in south west London and enjoys sailing, travelling and the occasional game of tennis. He is also a keen supporter of Crystal Palace FC and the Welsh rugby team.
