Graeme Fraser

Associate, Private Client

Divorce and family solicitor Graeme Fraser graduated in 1991 with a law degree from what is now Manchester Metropolitan University. He qualified in 1996 and worked as a family specialist before joining Cumberland Ellis in September 2006.

Graeme is a Resolution accredited specialist in complex financial and property matters (high income households and substantial assets) and cohabitation. He also belongs to the Law Society Family Accreditation Scheme.  He is a Resolution trained collaborative lawyer.  Increasingly, his clients have international connections.  He also advises on disputes relating to children.

Graeme sits on Resolution's Cohabitation Committee, which has an agenda to reform cohabitation law.  He has appeared on London and regional network radio, and written for national newspapers and legal journals.  He is one of the authors of the family law section of the LexisNexis PSL online service.

With a high level of attention to detail and to client care, Graeme strongly believes in putting forward realistic proposals from the outset of a case, with the scope to negotiate strategically.  He was noted in the Legal 500 for his matrimonial finance know-how.

Outside of work, Graeme enjoys fitness training. He has run several city marathons for Macmillan Cancer Support.  He is a keen Arsenal supporter.  He has travelled widely.  He lives in North London.
